OSHA Training & ACT WorkKeys Testing

OSHA 10-Hour Industry Training

OSHA 10-Hour training provides foundational safety and health standard knowledge for general industry careers. Industry specific training is available for the following careers:

  • Construction

  • Cosmetology

  • Culinary

  • General Industry

  • Healthcare

  • Law Enforcement, Corrections, Security

  • Manufacturing

The OSHA 10-Hour training is an online training you complete at your own pace. Once training is completed, you will receive a certificate of completion along with an OSHA 10-Hour training card for verification of your training.

ACT WorkKeys Testing

The ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is a job skills evaluation to help employers select, develop, and retain their workforce. A series of assessments measure foundational skills including Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, Workplace Documents, and/or Business Writing.

Registration and payment are required prior testing.

Test participants are required to provide a valid photo ID.

Testing location is in the Workforce Skills Training Center in room WT 161, Proctoring Suite.

Testing Dates & Start Times for all upcoming ACT WorkKeys NCRC Testing for Paraprofessionals, Manufacturing, and Law Enforcement (APOST/BAT):

  • Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 12:30 pm
  • Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 8:30 am
  • Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 12:30 pm
  • Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 8:30 am
  • Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 12:30 pm

           We reserve the right to change or cancel scheduled testing when necessary.

Need the BUSINESS WRITING assessment only? Click on the following link to register ACT WorkKeys – Business Writing Only  (NOTE: This is only for those needing to retake the business writing portion of the exam.).

♦ Results are provided at completion of testing.

Testing consists of three separate timed tests; the approximate time to complete all three tests is 2 to 3 hours.
