Turn Curiosity Into a Career — Become a Medical Laboratory Technician at NACC

Do you love science, technology, and helping people? The Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Program at Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) can turn your curiosity into a rewarding healthcare career. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you’ll work behind the scenes performing the tests that doctors rely on to save lives and keep communities healthy.

Every day, MLTs use advanced lab equipment to uncover answers hidden in blood, body fluids, and other samples. Your work helps physicians diagnose illnesses, monitor treatments, and give patients the answers they need. It’s hands-on science with a real impact.

See the MLT Score Card for detailed information on how the point system works.
