Trouper the Mustang Goes to College

August 24, 2022

A few of NACC's Presidential Hosts posed with Trouper on Tuesday.

Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) kicked-off the Fall 2022 semester with a special treat for students. NACC's real-life mascot, Trouper the Mustang, made a special trip to campus to celebrate the occasion. Northeast students had a great time meeting Trouper, and many students had their pictures made with him!

Trouper is a mustang owned and trained by Amber Rain Mathewson and serves as the college’s official mascot. See Trouper and Roscoe’s amazing statue and read about their story in the statue plaque as told by Big Fish author Daniel Wallace. The statue is located on the campus quad and is accessible to the public!
