The registration period for summer semester courses at Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) is just around the corner. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of low tuition rates at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
Academics at Northeast remain the college’s number one priority. NACC is consistently ranked among the top Alabama Community College institutions in student retention and completion rates.
“We are very proud of the strong academic tradition that we have at Northeast,” stated President Dr. Campbell. “We provide those first two years of college in most any field in the best possible way, just like we have always done. Students will receive a first-class education with us.”
NACC students planning to transfer to a four-year institution after graduation from Northeast are also set up for success. Northeast has articulation and transfer agreements with all public four-year universities and most private four-year universities in the state Alabama through Alabama Transfers. This resource allows students to seamlessly transfer their earned community college credits to a four-year institution, reducing the risk of duplication and loss of academic progress.
Like NACC’s completion and retention rates, Northeast boasts the highest rate of students who complete the Alabama Transfers Guide. Coaching students through the completion of the Alabama Transfers Guide is another example of how NACC prepares students for future success. NACC Director of Institutional Planning and Assessment Olivia Dodd sees this in the data reporting she receives from those institutions. “Recent data shows that NACC students perform well at four-year universities,” said Dodd.
Northeast also prides itself on being affordable and accessible. The college’s Financial Aid office allows students to uncover every financial aid opportunity that may be available to them. Additionally, NACC offers flexible scheduling options to meet your needs! Take advantage of expanded online courses and degree programs, as well as hybrid courses (part online and part in-person).
Registration for the summer semester begins on April 5, 2024. Contact the Admissions Office at 256-638-4418 ext. 2224 or email admissions@nacc.edu for assistance.
