The magic of the holiday season is coming to Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) this November, as the world-renowned Alabama Ballet presents The Nutcracker on Friday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m. in NACC’s Tom Bevill Lyceum.
A beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker delights audience members of all ages with its timeless story, dazzling choreography, and memorable musical score.
NACC has been hosting performances of the Alabama Ballet in our community for nearly 20 years, and The Nutcracker is just another example of how the college strives to provide our community with quality entertainment offerings close to home.
“We are excited to have the Alabama Ballet perform The Nutcracker for the college and local audiences,” stated Dr. David Campbell, President of NACC. “Performances of The Nutcracker are a wonderful holiday tradition rarely seen outside of larger cities in the South. But our facilities and the great, long-standing relationship that we have with the Alabama Ballet has brought the performance to Northeast. Special thanks to Alabama Ballet officials and our Foundation Director Heather Smith and Assistant Foundation Fundraiser Rachael Graham for making this possible. This is the College’s Christmas present to all of you!”
