Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) will offer a number of workshops and camps this summer for students in grades 5-12. These workshops are sponsored by the college and supported in part by the Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs Foundation.
One-day workshops will be offered in precision machining (grades 9-12), Solidworks design software (grades 6-9), welding (grades 9-10), soldering (grades 6-9), PC maintenance and security (grades 6-9), and electronics project (grades 6-9). These workshops are offered at no cost to the student.
Week-long camps will be offered the week of July 17-21. Topics include 3D Printing (grades 8-9), Robotics (grades 5-8), Welding (grades 11-12), and Machining (grades 11-12. These camps cost $59 each and include lunch each day.
