Beginning this fall semester, Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) is now offering students the opportunity to pay tuition on payments. Even though tuition at NACC is only $146 per semester hour, about half the tuition at most four-year universities and colleges, students who do not receive financial assistance may find it difficult to fund their education. The payment plan provides these students with an option to pay for their education as they complete their courses without accumulating debt. “This is a great opportunity to our cash paying students,” stated Sherie Grace, Dean of Student Services at NACC. “We are excited to be able to expand our services to students and provide students with additional opportunities to attend Northeast.” Nicky Willmon, Director of Financial Aid, added, “This is a great option for those students who do not qualify for Title IV funding.”
Students can register now for Fall classes, and the enrollment deadline for the payment plan is August 23. Students can access the Tuition Payment Plan link by going to the Financial Aid page on the Northeast website at www.nacc.edu. Once the student is on the financial aid page, the student will click on “Tuition Payment Plan” on the left side of the screen which will route the student to the tuition payment plan page. The payment plan page has the enrollment deadlines, down payment information, payment dates and other information that will answer the student’s questions. Once a student is ready to enroll, the student will click on “Enroll Today" and begin the process. There is a $30-$40 fee for the service.
