The Child Development Program and the Learning Resources Center at Northeast Alabama Community College will partner in doing a Family Story Time this summer. The event will be June 21 and June 28 from 2 PM to 2:30 PM. The location will be on the second floor of the Library (Cecil B. Word Learning Resources Center) in the Child Development classroom.
There will be information presented and read aloud strategies for parents. Child Development students will read to the children and do an engaging activity after the story.
Children who attend the Story Times must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. The event is free to those who attend.

If you are interested in enrolling as a student in the Child Development Program, early registration for the summer semester is going on now by appointment. Regular registration is Wednesday, May 31. Classes begin on Thursday, June 1. Registration ends on Monday, June 5.
