Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) President, Dr. David Campbell, is pleased to announce that the NACC Mobile App has been upgraded and is now available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
“As students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are aware, it is a core focus at Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) that we remain on the leading edge of technology,” said Campbell. “This focus begins in the classroom, online, and in our program laboratories, but extends across campus and now onto the devices of everyone connected to NACC.”
“For this reason I am very pleased to announce that a new and upgraded NACC App is available,” continued Campbell. “This new App has many modern design features, including the new Voice Search Tool that can provide information on most questions pertaining to the college. Simply hold down the ‘Voice Search’ icon in the App’s navigation menu while speaking, and results will instantly appear. The App additionally is a great resource for prospective students who may calculate tuition, browse class schedules, or even complete an application with it.” The App also includes easily accessible crisis management directions for any emergency situations on campus.
To access this App, go to the Apple App Store for the iOS version or go to the Google Play Store for the Android version. If you already have the NACC App, you will want to uninstall the older version and then reinstall the new one. Future updates are automatic with the new App.
“The college takes pride in the acquisition of technology,” added Campbell. “Indeed, NACC was the first community college in Alabama to have an iPhone App almost six years ago. This App has continued to win national marketing awards--even as recently as this spring. As with everything at Northeast, however, we are always working to get better, and this new App provides us with that opportunity.”
