NACC announces 24 Student-Athletes named to the 2024-2025 NJCAA All-Academic Team

Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) is proud to announce 24 Mustang student athletes have been named to the 2024-2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic team.

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

  • NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
  • NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
  • NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic First Team

  • Audra “Pearl” Bellomy – Softball
  • Skylar Branch – Softball
  • Kadie Brooks – Women’s Cross Country
  • Livia Cowart – Softball
  • Makenna Howes – Women’s Cross Country
  • Sophia Murphey – Softball
  • Shianne Parker – Softball
  • Eber Perez – Men’s Cross Country
  • Sierra Walding – Softball
  • Austin Yoder – Men’s Cross Country
     

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team

  • Chloe Hatch – Softball
  • Alena Howse – Softball
  • Thomas Stewart – Men’s Golf
  • Madeline Wilson – Softball
     

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team

  • Christine Alread – Women’s Cross Country
  • Taylor Bishop – Women’s Golf
  • Angel Fulks – Women’s Golf
  • Jada Hampton – Softball
  • Peyton Hill – Softball
  • Tristan Little – Men’s Cross Country
  • Ethan Roberts – Men’s Golf
  • Kyndell Sammons – Softball
  • Kiley Weston – Softball
  • Braxton Williams – Men’s Cross Country

Four Mustang teams received All-Academic team honors, including Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Women’s Golf, and Softball. NACC Mustang Softball recorded the highest GPA among Alabama Community College Conference softball teams with a 3.55 overall team GPA.
