The Office of High School Relations and Recruiting at Northeast Alabama Community College works to:
Interpret programs and courses and other printed materials offered by the college to prospective students and high school counselors.
Visit high schools to assist students in preparing to become a NACC student
Coordinate campus visits
Counsel with prospective students (first-time, transfer, and returning) and parents, serving as an on-campus liaison between the prospective student and the college until an advisor is assigned.
Represent the college at high school career day/night programs and other functions
Plan special events on campus for high school students, teachers, counselors, and prospective students

Important Dates for High School Students:
Monday, Nov. 4 , 2019- Financial Aid Help Session; 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Math, Science, and Engineering Technology Building
In order to participate, please let your students/parents know the following:
1. The student AND at least 1 parent needs to be in attendance
2. Bring a copy of their 2018 taxes, including W2’s (for anyone graduating early, bring your 2017 taxes, including W2’s)
3. If the student filed taxes, bring those as well.
4. This is for High School Seniors and their parents only.
Friday, November 1, 2019 - NACC High School Class of 2019 Scholarship Application Opens
Thursday, November 14, 2019 - High School Senior Parent Night ; 6:00-7:30 pm in the Math, Science, and Engineering Technology Building- join us for a night to inform parents of programs, scholarships, financial aid and so much more!
Friday, January 24, 2020 – Deadline to submit the NACC Scholarship ApplicationThe application closes at 4:30 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019. Students must complete the application before the deadline to be qualified for NACC scholarships.
