The College and Career Planning Center is not just for our students. We also work closely with employers in many different fields. Our staff understands the needs of modern businesses, and we are able to adapt to the unique needs of employers. Please allow us to work for you. We are ready to assist you.
We work closely with our students here at Northeast Alabama Community College, and we are able to identify the best possible talent for your available positions. We will work with you to determine your needs before hiring takes place, and we will stay involved throughout the hiring process. Though most of our placements result in great fits, we realize that sometimes an adjustment may need to be made and new talent may need to be found. We can help to remedy that, too. Our new Symplicity software makes placement more efficient and seamless than ever. With it, our Job Placement Specialist is able to track employment opportunities and post jobs. Employers will find that Symplicity gives you the control to post your job exactly how you need it. The software also allows our students to upload their resumes as part of the application process. Applications and resumes can be acquired directly through the software for easy online viewing, or you can choose alternative application methods. To get started follow the instructions below.
To register, you will need to provide some basic information about your business and contact information. You will also choose a primary email and password that will be used to log in to your account in the future. You can have multiple accounts for one company if you need more than one person to be able to post jobs for your company. Once you are logged in, you can further update your company bio and post jobs.
If you have any issues registering, logging into the system, or utilizing these services; please contact Dara Patterson in the College and Career Planning Center.
You only have to complete steps 1-2 once. From then on you will simply log in and have full access. Bryon Miller and Sherry Whitten are also happy to assist you with registering and posting jobs.
As a part of an ever-changing local and national economy, our College and Career Planning Center staff are constantly updating our information on career trends. Employers are a valuable asset that aids us in this task. We are always interested in what areas are growing and declining, what skills employers are seeking in students, the upcoming industry standards, and so on. We invite your expertise in these areas. You can participate by contacting our office. You can also find more information on our rapidly developing Work Experience programs (Internships, Co-ops, Apprenticeships) by contacting Nancy Griggs in the Workforce Development building Room 259.
