Athens State University 

Athens State University is the
upper-level college of the
Alabama Community College System.

NACC students may transfer to Athens State University after having
(1) earned a degree from NACC, or
(2) earned sixty or sixty-four semester hours of college credit with a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, or
(3) completed all general studies curriculum core requirements (Areas I-IV).

 

NACC also hosts a Center of Athens State University where you can complete your four-year degree on the NACC campus!

Please note: Athens courses begin at the junior level. Students who wish to enroll must have completed 60 hours of coursework at the freshman and sophomore levels.

If you are already admitted to Athens State University, you can register online. If not, you need to fill out an Athens application form.
