2to4 Transfer Program (for Alabama independent colleges)

Transfer Advisor

Transfer to independent (private) colleges in Alabama through the 2to4 TRANSFER PROGRAM.

2to4 Program Transfer Guides tell how to complete majors in Alabama's independent colleges after earning an associate's degree at Northeast (similar to the Transfer Guides that STARS provides for transferring to public colleges). Your Transfer Guide lists the NACC courses to take for your chosen major at one of these colleges. If you follow the Transfer Guide, you can graduate from the independent college at the same time as students who start there when you start Northeast.

2to4 Transfer Program information and Transfer Guides are here:

https://www.accs.cc/index.cfm/academics/transfer-guides/

  • Read the 2to4 Transfer Program web pages linked above.

  • Read the independent college's catalog and website.

  • Print a 2to4 Transfer Guide when you start Northeast, and follow it.

  • Print an extra copy for your NACC advisor. You are required to have a Transfer Guide at Northeast registration and to give your advisor a copy.

  • Get help understanding requirements from the NACC Transfer Advisor, your NACC advisor, and the admissions office of the independent college.

  • Keep up your grades at Northeast.

  • Meet all the independent college's requirements and deadlines for admission.

  • Follow these steps and enjoy a seamless transfer from Northeast!

As of 2014, the following members of Alabama’s Independent Colleges and Universities (AAICU) participate in the 2to4 Program:
