NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
Northeast Alabama Community College demonstrates compliance.
The NACC Catalog states that a student must complete at least 25 percent of semester credit hours at the college granting the degree. The Catalog is published annually both in print and online.
The Catalog statement is a direct relay of State Board Policy 715.01.
The requirement that 25 percent of semester credit hours toward a degree be earned at NACC is checked by the Office of the Dean of Instruction as part of the process of certifying candidacy for a degree.
Table 1 summarizes the degrees of transfer-in students since 1998 and shows that the minimum percentage of degree hours earned at NACC by transfer-in graduates was 26 percent.
