NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
Northeast Alabama Community College demonstrates compliance in offering continuing education, outreach, and service programs consistent with the mission of the college.
Two goals of the NACC mission specifically target outreach:
Goal Seven: Training that meets the specific educational needs of businesses, industries, community organizations, and governmental agencies.
Goal Nine: Community services which support personal growth, cultural enrichment, and societal activities; provide access to college facilities for community activities; and promote community, social, and economic development.
Northeast Alabama Community College offers training that meets the specific educational needs of businesses, industries, community organizations, and governmental agencies. This training is coordinated through the Office of Adult Education and Skills Training. Tables 1 and 2 report training provided in Years 2002 and 2003. Table 3 reports agencies served from1998 to early 2003, and Table 4 lists topics of training for the same period.
