Northeast Community Enjoys Christmas Music, Shopping, and Great Food

Northeast Alabama Community College held a Get Your Christmas Red On! event on December 7 in the Student Center. Christmas shopping opportunities with regional vendors were available from 8 am until 12 noon. Businesses included Stella and Dot Jewelry, Celebrating Home Décor, Park Lane Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Premier Jewelry, and Wanda Webb Jewelry specializing in silver jewelry.

The NACC Chorus performed many favorite Christmas songs and the Northeast Cafeteria served hot lasagna, green salad, garlic bread, and a drink for those in attendance to purchase.

This event was open to the public, as well as NACC faculty, staff, and students. It was a fun time of Christmas music, shopping, and great food!

“This was such an exciting day for our students and staff,” said Susan Barron, Director of High School Relations and Event Planning at NACC. “The festive atmosphere that was present on campus was a great diversion for students getting ready to begin their finals this week. With the beautiful Christmas music provided by the chorus and shopping, this day helped us all get in the spirit of the season. We appreciate the businesses coming out to support the College.”
