The Plumbers Apprentice Career Track program at Northeast
Alabama Community College will begin this spring. The plumbing
career field remains a high-growth employment sector for
commercial construction, residential construction, and service/
maintenance related job opportunities.

Introduction to Plumbing Math & Drawings
Plastic, Copper, Cast Iron, Carbon Steel Pipes & Fittings
Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing
Fixtures & Faucets
Introduction to Drain, Waste, & Vent (DWV) Systems
Introduction to Water Distribution Systems
The Alabama State Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board have
agreed to waive one year of the two-year apprenticeship
requirements for those who successfully complete this program.
Class will meet one day a week for 36 weeks. Class times are
8:00 a.m. until noon. Additional opportunities for paid or
unpaid work experience may be available.
