Walk-Ins Invited to Financial Aid FAFSA Help Sessions

The staff of the Financial Aid Office at Northeast Alabama Community College would like to remind everyone that it is now time to fill out FAFSA applications for Fall Semester. This can be done online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Or, if you need help filling out your application, then assistance is available to you at the college.

Now through August 10, NACC will offer financial aid help sessions. These sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 3 pm until 5 pm and Wednesdays from 10 am until 12 pm and from 1 pm until 5 pm, in an effort to better accommodate studentsí work schedules. Students are welcome to come during any time frame they choose. They must bring their 2010 US tax returns and W2s. The application process takes approximately thirty minutes or less. The applications need to be filed as soon as possible for money to be available for the Fall Semester which begins August 19.

Completing FAFSA applications via online computersThe college now has two FAFSA tutors to help assist students in filing their new 2011-2012 financial aid application. They are located in Room 111 of the Student Center.
