NACC Foundation Spring Fashion Show March 24

Northeast Alabama Community College knows fashion! One of the biggest events each year at NACC is the annual Foundation Spring Fashion Show.

Fashions from local businesses in DeKalb, Jackson and Marshall Counties are set to hit the stage on March 24 in the lobby of the Tom Bevill Lyceum on the NACC campus.

“It’s a great time to look at the most recent collections of spring and summer fashions from our local stores,” stated Heather Rice, NACC Development Director. “Fashions will be modeled by NACC students and staff, Foundation Board members and friends of the College.”

A silent auction will begin at 11 am and will feature items such as vacation rentals from Chestnut Bay, Guntersville State Lodge, Goose Pond Colony, and Mentone Realty. There will also be other great items to bid on such as purses, jewelry, pottery and paintings.

“We are very excited about the show and the silent auction,” Rice said. “It will be a fun day filled with great food and the latest fashions from our area. It’s a great way to raise money for scholarships.”

The luncheon begins at noon and will be catered by Veranda Café and Catering of Scottsboro. The fashion show will begin shortly after lunch.

Tickets for the event are $25 or $250 for a Patron Table of eight. Reservations should be made by March 21. There is limited space and tables are filling quickly. Call and reserve your tickets now!

“This is a great opportunity for the community to visit our campus and help support the Foundation and its efforts to raise funds to benefit students in our local area with scholarships,” Rice said.
