Eating Disorders: Public Invited to Health Seminar September 14

If you or a loved one is one of the millions of Americans who suffer from eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia or binge eating disorder, you know how devastating they can be. Eating disorders can lead to severe medical complications, depression, isolation and substance abuse. If left untreated, eating disorders can even be fatal. That is why getting the right eating disorder treatment is so important.

Wednesday, September 14, at 12:00 noon in HE 106, Mary Peake, RD,LD, from Huntsville AL, will be speaking to our students, faculty, staff, and community about issues related to eating disorders. Peake will speak for approximately 30-40 minutes and will take questions afterwards. She will be accompanied by Dr. Tim Howard, a physician, also from Huntsville.

Faculty are invited to bring their classes. The public is invited to this free event. Please join us for this very informative presentation.
