Self-Defense Strategies &
Basic Training Offered This Summer
Northeast Alabama Community College is now offering open
enrollment for a continuing education course in self-defense
strategies and training. This two-hour noncredit course teaches
someone how not to become a victim and what to do if threatened.
In this six week, twenty-four hour training course you will
learn:
Personal Safety
Escape Techniques
Basic Weapon Defense & Disarms
Counter an Attack
Joint Locks
Receive an Attack and Recovery
Learn to defend yourself and increase your chances of success in
handling any threatening situation. Come let 2nd Degree Black
Belt Instructor Robert Gibson share some common sense advice for
defending yourself and train you in some practical moves that
work. You will appreciate these courses whether you are in your
teen or twilight years. These classes are geared toward
families, groups, or corporate entities, and law enforcement.
