Northeast Alabama Community College Holds
Miss Northeast Pageant
On October 10, 2009, the Student Government Association at
Northeast Alabama Community College sponsored the 2010 Miss
Northeast Alabama Community College Pageant at the Tom Bevill
Lyceum on the Northeast campus. The pageant featured eighteen
contestants who attend NACC representing many local communities.
The theme for the event was “Once Upon A Time.”
Each Miss Northeast Pageant contestant was judged on three
categories consisting of poise and appearance, interview, and
student popular vote. Miss Molly Franks of Fort Payne was
crowned Miss Northeast 2010. The Poise and Appearance Award was
presented to Becky Piña of Ider, Best Interview and Student
Popular Vote Award was awarded to Molly Franks of Fort Payne.
Alandra Westmoreland of Flat Rock received the Miss Congeniality
Award for the pageant. Molly Franks will now represent NACC at
many community events and college functions throughout the year.
The 2010 Miss Northeast court included Jackie
Hayes-Fourth Alternate, Laura Spears–Second Alternate, Molly
Franks–Miss Northeast 2010, Becky Piña–First Alternate, and
Autumn Brown-Third Alternate.
