Fall Semester Registration: One
Student's Story
Registration for Fall Semester continues
at Northeast. Pictured below is Sheena Caneer (center) who
brought her daughter, Addison Grace, with her to campus to
register for classes in the Business and Management program. Pat
Bridgeman (right) in the Workforce Development Office assisted
her.
“My sister had attended and advised me to enroll at Northeast,”
said Caneer. “It was a big decision to enroll in college after
high school, but I am really glad I did. I have always heard
that you needed a high school diploma for a really good job, but
I have found in today’s job market that the good jobs require at
least a two-year degree. That’s why I am here.”
Regular registration for the fall will be August 19 and 20 from
8:30 am until 5:30 pm. Late registration continues August 21st
through the 27th. “I highly advise anyone who has not yet made a
decision to attend College, to do so,” continued Caneer. “While
furthering your education, you are making yourself better and
making a better life for your children. I believe that if you go
to college, then your children are more likely to go.”
For more information about enrolling at Northeast, call the
Admissions Office at ext. 222 or see the
Admission webpages.
