Gift Cards Available at NACC Salon
Institute!
Northeast Alabama Community College’s
cosmetology training program, The Salon Institute, now offers
gift cards. The cards, which may be purchased in any amount
(minimum $10), are available at either Salon Institute location.
Julise Clement, cosmetology program director at NACC, is excited
to be able to offer the cards to their clients. Northeast
operates a cosmetology training program for day-time students at
105 Liberty Lane in Scottsboro and at the DeKalb County
Technology Center in Rainsville for night-time students.
These cards interface with the salon management software that
the college uses to track all aspects of the salon operation.
“While the software provides a very practical tool for the
college to track this operation,” stated Mike Kennamer, Director
of Workforce Development at NACC, “it also gives students
excellent workplace experience that will be helpful once they go
to work for a salon or start their own business.” Students in
the cosmetology program at NACC work in all aspects of the salon
environment as part of their training.
