Northeast’s
Jake Hicks, in his first college tournament, placed
fifth on his individual performance with 320 points. A
total of 73 college students competed in this event.
Dr. Daphne Huntley, co-sponsor of the Northeast Quiz
Team, said, “We are so pleased to see Northeast students
excel in academic competition; however, this result
would not have been possible without the support and
enthusiasm of the Northeast administration, faculty and
staff. Everyone helps out wherever he or she can. The
team and I are deeply grateful for that.”
