New Parking Areas to Serve Growing Enrollment

In anticipation of a large number of students returning to Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) for the Fall Semester, school officials have contracted to provide additional parking spaces. Here workers are shown adding spaces adjacent to the street facing the Wallace Administration Building. This additional off-road parking also will provide two-way traffic on this street.

“For a number of years, several of our streets have had to be one-way due to their dimensions,” stated NACC President Dr. David Campbell. “With the changes to this road, and with the new road already built as a part of our Health Education and Technology Center project, we now will have two-way traffic flow all around the Northeast campus.”

Officials note that this change will make various segments of the campus more accessible, and create a more pedestrian friendly main campus. For more information about NACC and registration for the Fall Semester, explore the menus on this page.
