Northeast Alabama Community College
Holds Miss Northeast Pageant
On October 13, 2007, the Student Government Association at
Northeast Alabama Community College sponsored the 2008 Miss
Northeast Alabama Community College Pageant at the Tom Bevill
Lyceum on the Northeast campus. The pageant, with a “Beauty on
the Red Carpet” theme, featured eighteen contestants who attend
NACC, representing many local communities.
Each Miss Northeast Pageant contestant was judged on three
categories, consisting of poise and appearance, interview, and
student popular vote. Miss Jessica Bryan of Fort Payne was
crowned Miss Northeast 2008. The Poise and Appearance Award was
presented to Jessica Bryan of Fort Payne, Best Interview was
awarded to Amanda Neeley of Sylvania, and Student Popular Vote
Award was won by Kerry Adkins of Rising Fawn, Georgia. Casey
Hunt of Fort Payne received the Miss Congeniality Award for the
pageant.
As Miss Northeast, Jessica Bryan will now
represent NACC at many community events and college functions
throughout the year.
Miss Northeast and her finalists include

First Alternate, and Katrina Barclay - Third Alternate.
