Professional Seminar on Methamphetamine

Northeast Alabama Community College
Criminal Justice Program will offer a seminar on Meth: Addiction
and Consequences on Friday, September 28, 2007, in Room 132 of
the new Workforce Development building on campus.
This one day seminar focuses on the
addiction to methamphetamine, medical, and law enforcement
issues. Persons wanting to know more about meth and its affects
on the human body should attend.
Dr. Mary Holley, MD, director of Mothers Against Methamphetamine
will be the guest speaker. Dr. Holley is also the Chair of the
Education Committee Alabama Attorney General's Task Force on
Methamphetamine. Dr. Holley has written numerous publications
and video presentations about Crystal Meth.
Two lectures will be given; the morning session (registration at
8 am, lecture 8:30 - 11:30 am) focuses on Law Enforcement and
the afternoon session ( registration at 12:30 pm, lecture from 1
- 4 pm) focuses on EMT/Medical.
The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 25 and seating
is limited. The fee per lecture is $25 and includes a meal. To
