Medical Assistant Class Building Project Winners Announced
Shown is a picture of the winners of the Medical Assistant
Classes building project. A total of nine groups participated in
the project, building a layout and creative design of a
physician’s clinic. The winners are from left to right, Rhonda
Miller, Instructor Rachel Walker, Renee Masters, Reba Twilley,
Paula Brown and Cathy Seabolt. The name of their project was
Kids Care Clinic, with other projects being named Northeast
Pediatrics, Through the Early Years, Northeast Alabama Community
Cancer, ENT Group, Happy Care, Five Heart Beats, North Alabama
Women’s Center and Team Disney. The judges of the contest were
Pat Bridgeman and Julie Cohen of the NACC Skills Training
Division and Dr. Virginia Harris of Athens State University at
Northeast. Also helping the winning team was Elliot Miller, a
local artist and continuing education art instructor at
Northeast, who helped with drawing the wallpaper print for the
clinic. Anyone interested in taking the Medical Assistant
