Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation
Review Visit by NLNAC
Officials at Northeast Alabama Community College have announced
that the College will host a site review for initial
accreditation of the Practical Nursing Program. The public is
invited to meet the accreditation team and share comments about
the practical nursing program in person on Tuesday, October 14,
2008 at 3:00 pm in Room 106 of the Health Education Building at
Northeast Alabama Community College. Written comments are also
welcomed and should be submitted directly to Dr. Sharon Tanner,
Executive Director of the National League for Nursing
Accrediting Commission, 33 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY
10006. You may e-mail your comments to
stanner@nlnac.org.
The Practical Nursing Program was
established in 2004. The passing percentage on the NCLEX-PN exam
has been 100% for all graduates. The Associate Degree Nursing
Program (RN) is accredited by the National League for Nursing
with initial accreditation in 1984. For more information about
