Health Education and Technology Center Nears Completion

Progress continues on the new Health Education and Technology Center at Northeast Alabama Community College. The 52,000-square-foot facility is scheduled for completion this spring and will open for use by faculty, students, and the community for the Fall Semester 2007 beginning in August. The building will house all health-related programs at Northeast, including registered nursing, licensed practical nursing, emergency medical technician, paramedic, and medical assisting. The building also will provide offices for the Alabama Technology Center (ATN), teleconferencing facilities, and general classroom use. As a part of the use of the building, NACC officials also plan to arrange educational lectures and workshops for the community on individual and public health issues.

Construction is nearly finished on the Health and Technology Center.
