New Business Instructor at Northeast
Alabama Community College
Haley McBride Johnson of Rainsville has
been named full time instructor of business at Northeast Alabama
Community College, where she has taught part time for the past
three years.
In addition to her experience as a
part-time instructor at Northeast, Johnson has taught
Intermediate Accounting I, II, and III; Governmental Accounting;
and Advanced Accounting at Athens State University. She
also has been Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of First
Bank of the South in Rainsville, Business Office Administrator
at Edward Jones Investments in Fort Payne, Bookkeeper/Teller at
the First Bank of the South in Rainsville, and Fitness
Instructor at Wills Valley Recreational Center in Fort Payne.
Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree
(Consumer Sciences Management) from the University of Alabama in
Tuscaloosa, a Master of Science degree (Accounting and Financial
Management) from DeVry University in Kansas, and a Master of
Science degree (Interactive Technology) from the University of
Alabama in Tuscaloosa. While in college, Johnson was on the
Dean’s List and the Capstone Consumer Counsel and received a
leadership scholarship.
“As I walked through the doors of
Northeast in 1997 as a first-time student, I never imagined that
10 years later I would be named among the NACC faculty,” said
Johnson. “It truly has been a dream come true.”
