Child Development Students Serve the Community

In the picture below, Ali Stone and Lane Warr, students in the Northeast Alabama Community College Child Development Program, are shown having a blast painting little faces Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the annual Habitat for Humanity Chilli Challenge, held at Goosepond Colony Civic Center in Scottsboro. Students in the NACC CHD program participate in many exciting and fun activities during the year.

The need for childcare is ever increasing, and qualified personnel are needed to fill the many positions available. NACC offers both a short-term certificate and the Associate in Applied Science degree in Child Development.
