New Music Festival Coming to Northeast
in August
Save the date! Northeast Alabama Community
College will host its first “Music on the Mountain Bluegrass
Festival” on Saturday, August 9 from 1 pm to 10 pm in the Tom
Bevill Lyceum on campus.
Many regional bands will perform and the
headline band will be Randy Kohrs and the Lites. Jesse Daniel, a
local musician from Sand Mountain, plays in this band. Members
of the band will be conducting Master Classes in the afternoon
on the College campus. Outside activities will feature local
artists, food vendors, and inflatables for the little ones.
Tickets will be available July 1st at the
College. The cost for the Master Classes will be $20 each,
pre-registration only. Tickets for the festival are $15 in
advance and $20 the day of the festival. Student tickets are $10
in advance and $15 the day of the festival.
