Alabama Ballet Returns to NACC on July
24
Northeast Alabama Community College is proud to announce, in
partnership with the Gorham’s Bluff Institute, a performance on
campus by the world renowned Alabama Ballet. Youth workshops,
conducted by the Alabama Ballet company, will be held on
Tuesday, July 24, 2007, and the ballet performance will be on
Sunday afternoon, July 29, at 2:00 pm, in the Tom Bevill Lyceum.
The workshops are $20 per student and will be limited to 25
students per workshop. The Sunday performance is $10 per person
and is open to the public. This will be the second year NACC has
hosted the Ballet on campus.
The Ballet activities schedule includes:
NACC, Dance classes, Tuesday, July 24, $20 per student.
Gorham’s Bluff, Dance Discovery (a free preview dance
rehearsal), Thursday, July 26, 7 pm: www.gorhamsbluff.com.
Gorham’s Bluff, Bluffside Patrons Dinner and Performance,
Friday, July 27. Dinner at 7 pm, ballet begins at 8 pm. Please
call 256-451-2787 for reservations.
NACC, dress rehearsal, Saturday, July 28, 11 am, in the Tom
Bevill Lyceum, free to all students that attend ballet classes
at the College.
NACC, Sunday, July 29, 2 pm, the Alabama Ballet performs in the
Tom Bevill Lyceum.
