Alabama Ballet Returns to Northeast Alabama Community
College
Northeast Alabama Community College is
proud to announce, in partnership with the Gorham’s Bluff
Institute, a performance on campus by the world renowned Alabama
Ballet. Youth workshops, conducted by the Alabama Ballet
company, will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, and the ballet
performance will be on Sunday afternoon, July 27, at 2:00 pm, in
the Tom Bevill Lyceum.
The dance workshops are $20 per student
and will be limited to 25 students per workshop. All dance
workshop students will receive one free ticket to the Sunday
matinee. The Sunday performance is $10 per person and is open to
the public.
“This will be the third year NACC has
hosted the Ballet on campus. If you were here for last year’s
performance, we know you will have fond memories of their
exciting show,” said Susan Barron, Director of High School
Relations and Event Planning.
The Ballet activities schedule includes:
Dance classes at NACC, Tuesday, July 22,
$20 per student
Dance Discovery at Gorham’s Bluff,
Thursday, July 24, 7 pm,

Bluffside Patrons
Dinner and Performance Gorham’s Bluff, Friday, July 25. Dinner at 7 pm,
Ballet begins at 8 pm. Please call 256-451-2787 for

Performance at NACC, Sunday, July 27, 2 pm.
The Alabama Ballet performs in the Tom Bevill Lyceum.
