July 13-15 & 20-22, 2012
Our summer show is the comical and touching story of
life and friendships in a small Georgia town called “Second
Samuel” (the first one burnt down!) and how one little twist
turns the tale in this southern fable. You'll meet "B Flat", a
young, mentally challenged boy (reminiscent of Forrest Gump), as he gives us a tour of his
town and the folks that live
in it. Like some other Southern tales (think Steel Magnolias
and To Kill a Mockingbird), behind its gentle tale of
small town life are some wonderful messages about acceptance.
Join us for this Pulitzer-nominated show that is filled with
outright laughter and tears! We can guarantee this to be a
two-hanky show. Second Samuel will stay in your heart for
a long time to come. Don't miss it!
Performances will be July 13-15 & 20-22, 2012.
Friday-Saturday evening performances will begin at 7:00 p.m.,
and Sunday matinees will begin at 2:00 p.m. All seats are
reserved, and tickets are $5.00 each. Tickets go on sale to
patrons on June 1 and the general public on June 15.
Please note this show is best enjoyed by audiences 10 & over. Don’t forget the patron
receptions at intermission on both Saturdays of the production! |
