July 10-12 & 17-19, 2015
Ask around Sand Mountain, and you will find someone who saw the hilarious Southern comedy, The Foreigner, back in 2006. They will tell you one thing: GET READY TO LAUGH! A crowd favorite right up there with Smoke on the Mountain!

The Foreigner
is a comic romp and a tribute to the power of silence. Charlie Baker is an Englishman visiting Tilgham County, Georgia with his friend, munitions expert Froggy LeSeur. Charlie is a pathologically shy fellow looking for a little peace and quiet. To guarantee Charlie's solitude, Froggy introduces him as a foreigner who neither speaks nor understands a word of English. Undaunted by this apparent inability, the inhabitants of the fishing lodge where he's staying nevertheless treat Charlie as one of their own. Charlie's plans for a peaceful vacation are soon gone with the wind as he finds himself in the center of a maelstrom of devious activity.

Performances will be July 10-12 & 17-19, 2015. Friday-Saturday evening performances will begin at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday matinees will begin at 2:00 p.m. All seats are reserved, and tickets are $5.00 each. Tickets go on sale to patrons on May 29 and the general public on June 12. This show is best enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Donít forget the patron receptions at intermission on both Saturdays of the production!

The Foreigner is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
