April 18-22 & 25-29, 2012
"Without our traditions, our lives would be as shaky as a fiddler on the roof!" Perhaps the most embraceable play in the history of musical theatre, the 1964 hit Fiddler on the Roof returns to the NACC stage for the fifth time next spring. Mega hit songs include "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Tradition," the inspiring opening number that immediately launches a major theme in the play. Tevye is the father of five daughters, and they each fall in love with hopes of pursuing their own hopes and dreams. Much to Tevye's frustration, however, each suitor tests the proud papa's ability to accept the attitudes of a younger generation. Heartbreaking as often as it is heartwarming, Fiddler on the Roof never fails to remind audiences of the joys and hardships of life and the powerful bonds between good friends and loving family.

Performances will be April 18-22 & 25-29, 2012. Wednesday-Saturday evening performances will begin at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday matinees will begin at 2:00 p.m. All seats are reserved, and tickets are $5.00 each. Tickets go on sale to patrons on March 7 and the general public on March 21. Please note this show is best enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Don’t forget the patron receptions at intermission on both Saturdays of the production!
