The Cecil B. Word Learning Resources Center’s collection includes approximately 53,000 books, 42,000 full-text electronic books, 120 periodicals, 9 newspapers, and 450 videocassettes and DVDs.

The library has twenty-three computers designated for research and Internet use and six computers designated for word processing.

This online catalog allows patrons to search Northeast’s collection, as well as the collections of eighteen other local libraries.

Alabama Virtual Library

The AVL is a collection of online databases made available by the legislature for library, school, or home use. Contact the faculty and staff of the Northeast library or of a local public library to acquire a username and password.

H.W. Wilson’s Humanities Index and Reader’s Guide

This comprehensive index includes abstracts of numerous periodicals and even full-text versions of selected periodicals. NACC students should contact the faculty and staff of the Northeast library to acquire a user name and password.

Gale’s Opposing Viewpoints
This database contains essays, newspaper and magazine articles, and statistics concerning today’s most controversial topics. NACC students may now access this database via the Alabama Virtual Library.
