The Northeast Alabama
Community College Foundation
The Northeast Alabama Community
College Foundation exists to support the mission of Northeast
Alabama Community College and provide opportunities for
students. The Foundation was organized and incorporated in 2002
for the purpose of stimulating voluntary private support from
alumni, parents, friends, corporations, foundations and others
for the benefit of the College.
“The Foundation is made up of 19
community leaders from Jackson and DeKalb Counties,” stated Hoyt
Harbin, Foundation Chair. “I am so pleased to work with a great
group of people that have the same desire to raise funds for
scholarships for students. Northeast Alabama Community College
has so many opportunities and is a vital part in the growth of
our communities.”
Northeast Alabama Community College supports over 3,000
students, and provided 394 scholarships for the 2009 fall and
2010 spring semester.
“We greatly appreciate the work of our
community and Foundation Board members in supporting the
college,” stated Dr. David Campbell, NACC President. “It is our
students who benefit so much from this support, particularly in
regard to scholarships that they receive through the Foundation
and its activities. Thank you in behalf of our students.”
