Carol Wray attended Northeast Alabama Community College and received her B.S. in education with a minor in English from Jacksonville State University in 1978. She completed her M.S. degree in education at JSU in 1986. In addition to this, she completed post graduate work at Auburn University in 1999. She taught for thirty years in the same school in the Jackson County school system. Recently, she retired to work as an adjunct at NACC and to babysit her great-grandchild.

Carol Wray lives in Rainsville with her husband of forty-eight years, Bill, on the family farm. They have three daughters, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is an active member of Broadway Baptist Church where she volunteers in the nursery, teachers GA's, and goes on mission trips.

She enjoys reading and spending time with her ever expanding family.
