The Selection Process
For B, C, and D advertised jobs, the President appoints a five
member committee that screens applications to determine who
meets the minimum qualifications. The committee then interviews
and submits no more than three applicants to the President, who
then conducts interviews with these applicants and selects a
final candidate. For E jobs, the President appoints a committee
that screens applications to determine which applicants meet the
minimum qualifications. The committee submits the list of
qualified applicants to the President, who then selects
candidates from the list, conducts interviews, and then selects
a final candidate. For adjunct and hourly part-time employees,
the appropriate supervisors submits a request along with an
application to hire to the President. The credentials of adjunct
instructors are checked by the SACSCOC Liaison and results then
given to the President, who then makes a decision to hire or
Northeast Alabama Community College participates in E-Verify.
