The Alabama Technology Network
center located on Northeast Alabama Community College
opened in October 2005. The center is currently located
in the Pendley Administration Building in room 205, but
will be relocating to the new Health and Technology
Building, currently under construction in the spring
2007.
Since its origination, the center has worked with many area businesses in an
effort to improve industry productivity and quality. Among the businesses of the
DeKalb and Jackson County area, the center has completed projects with Gold
Kist, Inpec Tech, ICB Electronics, and the Gas House. Mostly recently, the
center has worked with the Northeast Alabama Community College financial aid
office in an effort to streamline areas of the registration and financial
process. In addition to local projects, the center has served many other
businesses throughout the state.
About Our Staff
Ronny Kisor Center Director
Over 20 years experience in the manufacturing industry working in Quality
Engineering and management positions.
Worked for the last 12 years with the Alabama Technology Network at the
Gadsden State center in Gadsden.
Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama with
certifications as a Certified Quality Engineer and Certified ISO 9000 Quality
Management System Auditor.
Assisted over 20 companies in implementing Quality Management Systems and
achieving certification.
Chris Anderson Project Engineer
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University
Over 10 years experience in manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on metal
fabrication and wood-working.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Implementation of Quality Systems,
Facilities Layout, Ergonomics, and Time and Motion Studies.
Jada Freeman Office Manager
Currently an undergraduate of Athens State University.
Clerical and banking experience.
