Alabama Career Center System 

The Alabama Career Centers provide training assistance to eligible participants through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and TRA/TAA (Trade Act-related) funding. They offer FREE services such as: job search, tuition assistance, resume preparation, and computer training. These are full-service job listing sites (formerly known as employment offices) that assist job seekers and employers alike. They also provide computer labs with internet-accessible computers with Microsoft Office software that students and others may use for school or job search activities. The Alabama Career Centers help many people in Alabama go to college and start a career.

Launch

Launch is a program designed to serve out-of-school youth, between the ages of 16 and 21, who face barriers to their success and lack the financial means to realize their dreams. North Alabama Center for Educational Excellence

NACEE provides financial aid assistance, academic and career counseling, scholarship searches, tutorial services, GED prep, and cultural enrichment activities free of charge. For more information about NACEE, click here.
 

Ready to Work

The Ready to Work program offers FREE skills training to students wanting to better prepare for today's workplace. The career skills taught in this class include: resume writing, basic computer skills, communications, workplace behavior, manufacturing, and so much more. Career Ready Alabama

Career Ready Alabama is a job skills assessment system awarding Career Readiness Certificates which measure and verify skills critical to job success.
